My Comments:
Well, this is my costume for a Studio Ironcat promotion type thing. It all started at lunch one day when my friend Beth thought it would be a good idea to do kitty costumes for Studio Ironcat. Then she came up with cheerleader cats, and I thought it was a pretty cool idea so I joined in. We got permission from Steve Bennett and now have a squad of 5 members. The costume actually is supposed to have ears and a tail, but we haven't got around to adding those yet. As for the skirt and shirt, it was a simplicity cheerleading costume pattern with quite a few alterations. For example, the skirt is supposed to have a yoke at the top and the shirt wasn't supposed to be a halter. The ribbon trim is a combination of silver lame' and white bias tape. All together about 20 or so yards of ribbon are on it (took quite awhile to do all the trim). As for the cheerleader panties, they are black cotton/lycra and will have silver velvet paw prints on them. From the description you can tell the costume isn't quite completed, but it will be before A-kon 13.
